AT SPILT MILK MOONCUSSER TATTOO
W.YARMOUTH-CAPE COD

There are so many reasons to want to remove a tattoo! Sometimes it's a reminder of something you regret, while sometimes it's not done in the way you originally wanted. And we can't forget a tattoo placed inconveniently in the way of a larger tattoo you didn't know you wanted at the time! Whatever the reason we have the solution. Laser tattoo removal is done by certified professionals, Andréa x Tasha & SunMi Scheinler here in Yarmouth, on Cape Cod, with tattooing backgrounds and tattoos on our own bodies. We know what goes into the application process, and with that understanding comes better knowledge as to how to remove a tattoo, making it either disappear or fade away to something new and better! Most tattoos can be entirely removed using our lasers.  We'll be open with you about what level of removal is most suited to you and the steps to getting there, based on the specific characteristics of your existing tattoo and your desired goal.

THE QUANTA EVO LASER

We use a state-of-the-art laser called the Quanta Evo. This laser system uses an advanced  3-wavelength laser technology to safely remove or fade unwanted tattoos. Which means we can treat the largest array of tattoo ink colors, including red, yellow, purple, green, blues, and even the notorious tough-to-treat light blue.

Once the beam hits the ink pigments it shatters into smaller particles so our body can filter it through our lymphatic syestem, removing the unwanted ink.

While getting laser tattoo removal is uncomfortable it’s incredibly quick. To make it feel like a zap in time we also include A Zimmer cryo system . It cools the skin before, during and after treatments.

TREATMENTS AND SESSIONS

A laser treatment session usually doesn’t take very long at all. Depending on the age & size of the tattoo, complexity, and color(s), you can expect this fading process to take multiple sessions.

Keeping in mind that the depth, ink color, and amount of ink as well as the location of the tattoo are all determining factors in how quickly we will be able to get your tattoo faded or removed.

Once the ink is broken down by the laser, your body responds by moving fluid to the area to help flush away the ink using your natural immune system. This immune response will be obvious in the form of some swelling and redness in the area! Over the next few weeks the ink will be flushed away as your body moves the broken down particles through your immune system. This doesn’t happen overnight which is why tattoo removal takes a number of sessions! You will leave your session with a light layer of cooling cream and a breathable bandage over your treated tattoo, as well as an aftercare sheet of the do's and things to avoid.

AFTERCARE

The aftercare for laser treatment is pretty easy! The most important advice to follow is to keep well hydrated and your body healthy. We know that doesn't sound like much but your body is doing all that incredible work internally to help break down ink pigments and filter them through the lymphatic system. That means getting lot's of water, sleep, and exercise to help optimize the body's potential to fade or remove your tattoo.
